Not So Winter-Break DnD.
Jarek, the Orc Kingdom, was founded a hundred thirteen years ago by the great warrior Arka the Unbroken. Already chief of her own tribe, she united many of the major tribes of Orcs who roamed Phembria, and conquered Aaia’s most beloved holy city, Dai. From that initial conquest, they spread to take over most of the western peninsula of the continent. Desecrating the great temple of Aaia, then demolishing it to build one of the first permanent temples of their own Goddess, Karik, the new kingdom began to flourish. Offering amnesty to all races oppressed by the Phembrians, such as the goblins, kobolds, drow, etc, the country is ever-growing, now ruled by Arka’s grand-daughter, Kilsti the Unfailing (Orcish titles always start with un-). It stands to take a few of the western states in the next decade.
Orcish culture, while seemingly brutal and savage to outsiders, is actually complex and relevant to the Orc’s former and new way of life. Few Phembrians, however, know about it, or even care.
