Those Other Two
Iklo is ruled by President Vander Nelix. He is a human(?), and has two wives and some dead children. The president is elected once the last one dies or quits, but if the people do not like their president they have the right to murder him. Because we can’t have a perfect democracy, this is medieval/early Renaissance times. So let’s pretend that the people there are sort of southeast Asian in appearance. You know it’s kind of weird to assume that people in a fantasy world would have the culture of whatever race they look like in the real world. Don’t you think that’s weird? There are less Couatls in this country because most of the people think they’re creepy magic snakes. Polygamy is the super common, but women can do it to. Basically a person can have more than one wife or husband, but that wife or husband can’t have another spouse. So it’s only polygamy for some people. There’s no like weird chain marriages or anything, lol. The more powerful one is the polygamist in the relationship. Or is everyone in a polygamist relationship considered a polygamist, regardless of whether or not they have multiple spouses? I dunno but I bet you know what I mean.
Ilko has many unique martial traditions, including training the Bes-Kismet, which does not go over well with their Shimenese neighbors. Many people of Shimen believe in Kaism, and believe that the practices of the Bes-Kismet can permanently harm a person’s ch’i. Ilko is also home to the largest population of shifters.
Navina is the India and until further explained we can just assume it’s India. It’s ruled by a princess, a great psychic and elan. Why isn’t she a snake? Couatls shouldn’t try to get with normal people you think. But the guy who keeps courting her even though he is a Couatl can turn into a person because magic. I should not write wiki pages at six in the morning, it is not smart idea.
Navina will never become important. EVER.
There are a few island nations off the coast but they are so wee and little and irrelevant that I won’t even grace them with description unless you guys really want me to.
